Commando Abilities

These are abilities that some characters can learn in their Commando Crystariums for use in battle. Note that not all characters have access to the same abilities as indicated below.

Adrenaline

Description:: Boost Strength and Magic when HP is high.

Attack

Description:: Deal physical damage to target.

Blindside

Description:: Boost chain bonus of staggered target upon attacking.

Launch

Description:: Attack and launch staggered target into the air.

Comments:: Launch is an incredibly important ability both for the damage that it causes but also for its ability to interrupt the target’s attacks. Many enemies are immune to it, but those who aren’t can be juggled nearly continuously while they are staggered.

Lifesiphon

Description:: Recharge one ATB gauge segment upon slaying target.
