Rocket Town is the northernmost town on the western continent. It is located to the north of Nibelheim in the center of a large field. It is the hometown of Cid Highwind.
There are two separate points in the story where the game will take you through Rocket Town. The first is after your team finishes traversing through Mount Nibel and emerges in the grassy fields of the Rocket Town area. Check out the first Rocket Town walkthrough page for additional details.
The second visit is when the Shinra Corporation makes the decision to launch Shinra Rocket No. 2 (the rocket in the center of the town) in to space with the Huge Materia in order to blow up Meteor. You can head to the second Rocket Town walkthrough page for more information.
