Elements and Statuses
An explanation of the various elements, statuses, and status types in the game.
Elements
“Elemental is a physical attribute. There are Fire, Ice, Thunder, Earth, Poison, Wind, Water, and Holy elements. This means that Fire magic has Fire properties, Ice monsters have ice properties, etc. Damage varies depending on elemental properties. There is also a non-elemental property. Non-elemental is not influenced by other elements.”

Elem-Atk
(Elemental Attack) - Junctioning magic spells to Elem-Atk to give your attack an elemental property.
Elem-Def
(Elemental Defense) - Junctioning magic spells to Elem-Def to give your character protection against an elemental property.
Statuses
“Status signifies status effects, such as Poison and Petrify. Status Change means change in a character’s status. Besides statuses like Poison and Petrify, which have negative effects, there are status changes like Protect and Double, which benefit the character. Status changes occur to both enemies and allies.”

ST-Atk
(Status Attack) - Junctioning magic spells to ST-Atk to give your attack a status effect.

(Status Defense) - Junctioning magic spells to ST-Def to give your character protection against a specific negative status effect.
