You can unlock Earth Eater in the Monster Arena by unlocking two Area Conquest fiends.

Battling against an Earth Eater is one of the steps that you will need to complete to maximize the stats of your characters and for quick leveling. Check out the Tips and Tricks section for more information.
The most difficult aspect of the battle against Earth Eater is that it will counter all attacks against it with either “Megaton Punch” or with

The strategy for defeating it is to power through its HP and just deal with your characters dying numerous times. Make sure that you have equipped each of your characters with the 
Auto-Phoenix auto-ability and that you have a heavy stockpile of 
Phoenix Down.
You should consider power leveling your characters and obtaining the Celestial Weapons. Check out the Advanced section of the Tips and Tricks for more information. With properly leveled characters, this fight is pretty straightforward.
