“Being an amorph said to come from a sea of blood, found most commonly near battlefields and other places where battle-gore flows in rivers.
A constant internal burning sets the crimson spray splashed upon it to boiling, spreading the rusted-iron scent of old blood on the air…a scent known to call other spirits of the dead. With this in mind, should you happen to encounter one of these foul things, be done with it quickly, or you may find that you have more on your hands than you bargained for.”
