Note that some items can be purchased from shops but only at much later stages in the game. These new items are noted in the walkthrough section as they become available. Note also that some of the treasure chests have a small chance of appearing in the areas indicated. You may need to re-enter the area to find them.
The first list is listed in the same order as in the game. The second list is in alphabetical order.
Potion
- Effect:
- Restores a small amount of HP (100) to one ally which increases with Potion Lore Licenses.
- Location:
- Most shops across Ivalice.
Hi-Potion
- Effect:
- Restores HP (450) to one ally which increases with Potion Lore Licenses.
- Location:
- Most shops across Ivalice, from the point that Vossler joins the party at the Ogir-Yensa Sandsea.
X-Potion
- Effect:
- Restores a large amount of HP (1,500) to one ally which increases with Potion Lore Licenses.
- Location:
- Stocked by a handful of shops (Rabanastre, Nalbina Town, the Dalmasca Estersand, Archades and Balfonheim Port) once you reach Archades.
Ether
- Effect:
- Restores a small amount of MP (50) to one ally which increases with Ether Lore.
- Location:
- From the Clan Provisioner in the Rabanastre - Muthru Bazaar, at the Ward of Justice clan rank.
Hi-Ether
- Effect:
- Restores MP (200) to one ally which increases with Ether Lore.
- Location:
- From the Baknamy Merchant at the Necrohol of Nabudis.
Remedy
- Effect:
- Removes Blind, Poison, Silence and Slow from an Ally. Additional status are added with Remedy Lores:
Remedy Lore 1:
Adds Sleep, Sap, Immobilize and Disable
Remedy Lore 2:
Adds Petrify, Confuse and Oil
Remedy Lore 3:
Adds Stop, Doom and Disease - Location:
- Every shop after you defeat Judge Bergan at Mt Bur-Omisace. The travelling merchant at Mt Bur-Omisace stocks them a little earlier, once Vinuskar falls in the Tomb of Raithwall.
Phoenix Down
- Effect:
- Revives a KO’d ally. The amount of HP restored increases with additional Phoenix Lore.

Domaine Calvados
- Effect:
- Grants
Bravery to one ally. - Location:
- Not sold in shops in The Zodiac Age. Found in treasure chests in the Barheim Passage, the Nabreus Deadlands, the Feywood, Giruvegan and Balfonheim Port, and dropped by Reavers and High Reavers.
Soleil Fang

- Previously called a Red Fang in the original PlayStation 2 version of the game.

Baltoro Seed
- Effect:
- Grants all positive status effects to one ally including Protect, Shell, Haste, Bravery, Faith, Vanish, Regen, Float, Bubble and
Libra on one target. - Location:
- Treasure chests, most reliably the respawning chest in the Cerobi Steppe (Northsward). Can also be stolen from a Magick Pot.
Dark Matter
- Effect:
- Deal damage to all foes in range.
