Basilisks are very easy to defeat, but you have to be somewhat prepared for their “Stone Breath” attack, which has a chance of petrifying your characters. If all of your characters are Petrified, it’s game over. Use a Soft on any of your party members as soon as they are petrified.

Kimahri can use Lancet on an Anacondaur to learn Stone Gaze for his Ronso Rage Overdrive.
