Tyrant using Forge Blade during Mission 49

You have most likely already fought a Tyrant or, even if you haven’t, you have most certainly fought other Centaurion enemies before and they all function the exact same. They will attempt to summon a Centaurion Blade into battle which, normally, can be prevented by Staggering them. Because you won’t have an opportunity to get a preemptive strike in on this Tyrant you will have to deal with it summoning at least one Centurion Blade into the fight.

The Tyrant using its Forge Blade attack at the start of the Mission 49 battle

Start off in a paradigm like Superiority (Fang as a Saboteur and Lightning and Hope as Synergists) to buff up your party and apply debuffs to both Tyrant and the Centaurion Blade it summons. Getting Imperil, Deprotect and Deshell active on them can be incredibly helpful.
