You may have caught it already, but Yuna wields Tidus’ old Brotherhood sword and Rikku wields a model of one of Tidus’ swords that’s recycled for the Crystal Sword, Tri-Steel, and Double Edge (among others) from Final Fantasy X, while Paine wields her own unique sword not seen in the previous game. This same pattern holds true for their Dark Knight weapons.

Overview

There’s nothing wrong with using a Warrior, and it certainly doesn’t require any complex skills to utilize. Its primary benefit lies in the fact that, early on in the game at least, the Warrior’s Attack will be one of your strongest sources of damage. So why is it a lower-ranking Dressphere?

Unfortunately, while it starts out strong, it will quickly be outclassed by other Dresspheres that deal more physical damage and provide stronger defense. Namely, the Dark Knight Dressphere can pretty much be thought of as a straight-up replacement for this one once you get it.

Why it still lands in the middle, though, is due to its Swordplay abilities. These abilities, including Power Break, Armor Break, Magic Break, and Mental Break, work on many bosses and can provide huge strategic advantages when they do.

This is one of the starting Dresspheres that you begin the game with.
