Bevelle and the Calm Lands
This visit is a quick stopover for some cutscenes, and then you’ll be on your way. Run along the highbridge towards the entrance, and a cutscene will occur involving a Priest and then Baralai.
Before you leave, head inside New Yevon HQ and ride the elevator up to the second level. Speak to Baralai one more time, and you’ll receive the 
Tiara accessory. Now you are off to the next location: the Calm Lands.
Calm Lands
A short cutscene will play the first time you enter the Calm Lands. Make your way down towards the hover, and you’ll see two people standing in front of it. The one on the left is with Open Air, Inc., and the one on the right is with Argent, Inc. Speak to either one of them and select the “Publicity menu.” Then, select “Sign me up!”
Helpful Hint
Which of the two companies should you select? It truly does not matter. Some of the prizes for the attractions out here in the Calm Lands change depending on which you select, but the differences are very minor, and there isn’t really one option that stands out over the others.

Make your way to the center of the Calm Lands to find the 
Save Sphere and a shop. You’ll also meet a man who wants help finding a suitor for his son. He’ll start by asking if Yuna wants to marry him, but it doesn’t matter which option you select (either “Do I ever!” or “No, I don’ts.”). He will then ask if you can help him out; select the “Why not!?” option.
You’ve now kicked off both the Publicity Campaign and the Marriage Campaigns, two independent side quests, but that can essentially be done at the same time. You can read more about them using the link below.
Side Quests
Using the 
button to speak to NPCs about the attractions in the Calm Lands and to build interest in a marriage proposal for the hapless bachelor.
To summarize, you can now press the button when talking to various NPCs around Spira to spread publicity for whichever company you chose, or to spread the word about the man’s son looking for a marriage proposal. In fact, you can even go back to many of the places that you’ve previously been, but you definitely do not need to do this.
All you need to do to complete these campaigns is attain 400 points for the Publicity Campaign or 70 points for the Marriage Campaign, and both are very easily attainable without backtracking to the places you’ve already been. But that being said, if you want to backtrack for full completion purposes, use the following link:
Side Quests
A list of the NPCs you can interact with in Chapter 1 in the locations you’ve already visited to start amassing Publicity and Marriage points. As a reminder, you don’t need to go back to these locations in Chapter 1.
You are also finished in the Calm Lands for now, so use the nearby Save Sphere to warp back up to the Celsius and then head to Mt. Gagazet.
Checking the “Bevelle and the Calm Lands Complete” box adds the Story Completion Percent for the automatic scenes in Bevelle and the Calm Lands.
