Sky Pirate’s Den
The Clan Primer includes four sections, one of which is the Sky Pirate’s Den. The Sky Pirate’s Den is a picture that fills up with sprites as you fulfill a number of unknown conditions during a playthrough of the game.
The Sky Pirate’s Den is very similar to the Trophies that you can obtain on the PlayStation 4 Zodiac Age version of the game. In fact, obtaining all of the Trophies will cause you to obtain all of the unlockable sprites in the Sky Pirate’s Den and vice versa.
Below is a picture of the Sky Pirate’s Den when all of the sprites have been unlocked. Underneath the picture you will find descriptions of each of the sprites and details on how to unlock them:
Ashe
Awarded for raising your party’s average level above 50, earning you the title of Exemplar.
This sprite is obtained once your party’s average level is 50 or more. The formula is ( Vaan’s Level + Balthier’s Level + Fran’s Level + Basch’s Level + Ashe’s Level + Penelo’s Level) / 6.
Ba’Gamnan
Awarded for completing the Bestiary, earning you the title of Scrivener.
This sprite is one of the most difficult to obtain. You must defeat all of the enemies in the Bestiary, but not just one of each. You must defeat the number shown to the right of each enemy in the Bestiary in order to complete it. You must also defeat Hell Wyrm, Yiazmat and Omega Mark XII.

Balthier
Awarded for Attacking over 300 times, earning you the title of Assault Striker.
Just use the regular “Attack” command in battle 300 times and this sprite will unlock. This is one of the easiest sprites to obtain.
Basch
Awarded for felling over 500 foes, earning you the title of Blood Dancer.
You will naturally obtain this sprite as you playthrough the game after you have defeated any 500 foes.
Behemoth King
Awarded for defeating the Behemoth King, earning you the title of Lord of the Kings.
This sprite is awarded once you have defeated Hunt 42: Truth Shrouded in Mist. Check out the Hunt page for more information on how to track down and defeat the Behemoth King.
Belias
Awarded for obtaining every Esper, earning you the title of High Summoner.
In order to obtain this sprite you must obtain all of the Espers including:
- Adrammelech
- Belias
- Chaos
- Cúchulainn
- Exodus
- Famfrit
- Hashmal
- Mateus
- Shemhazai
- Ultima
- Zalera
- Zeromus
- Zodiark
Carrot
Awarded for defeating Carrot, earning you the title of Freshmaker.
You must complete Hunt 39: Carrot Stalk in order to obtain this sprite. Check out the Hunt page for more information on how to track down and defeat Carrot.
Chocobo
Awarded for walking more than 50,000 steps, awarding you with the title of Wayfarer.
This sprite is automatically obtained after you have taken 50,000 steps. You can open the menu at any time and look at the bottom-right corner of the screen to see how many steps you have taken.
Crystal
Awarded for learning every Magick, earning you the title of Runeweaver.
This sprite is obtained by locating all of the Magick spells in the game. Check out the Magick Spells section for more information on what spells are available and where to find them.
Deathgaze
Awarded for defeating Deathgaze, earning you the title of Eagle Eye.
This sprite is obtained after you have completed Hunt 26: Visitor on Deck. Check out the Hunt page for more information on how to track down and defeat Deathgaze.
Fafnir
Awarded for defeating Fafnir, earning you the title of Wyrmslayer.
This sprite is obtained after you have completed Hunt 31: Wyrm Wrath’s Renewal. Check out the Hunt page for more information on how to track down and defeat Fafnir.
Fran
Awarded for casting Magicks over 200 times, earning you the title of Spellsinger.
All you have to do to obtain this sprite is cast 200 Magick spells. You can just cast Cure repeatedly until this sprite appears.
Gabranth
Awarded for performing every Concurrence, earning you the title of Mist Walker.
This is one of the more difficult sprites to obtain. Check out the Quickenings section for more information on how to perform the various Concurrences in the game and how to unlock this sprite.
Gilgamesh
Awarded for defeating Gilgamesh, earning you the title of Master Swordsman.
This sprite is obtained after you have completed Hunt 40: Battle on the Big Bridge and defeated Gilgamesh twice. Check out the Hunt page for more information on how to complete this fight.
Gurdy
Awarded for spending over 1,000,000 gil, earning you the title of Spendthrift.
Spend 1,000,000 gil as you earn it at the various shops to unlock this sprite.
Hell Wyrm
Awarded for defeating the Hell Wyrm, earning you the title of Radiant Savior.
This sprite is unlocked by defeating the Hell Wyrm. Check out the Hell Wyrm side quest page below for more information on how to find the Hell Wyrm and defeat it.
Migelo
Awarded for selling over 1,000 pieces of loot, earning you the title of Privateer.
Sell 1,000 pieces of loot to any of the vendors across Ivalice to unlock this sprite.
Mimic?
Awarded for obtaining rare goods on the bazaar, earning you the title of Collector.
You will automatically obtain this trophy after you have obtained the Morbid Urn/Canopic Jar. You can unlock the Urn by selling a Phobos Glaze (obtained by defeating the Gil Snapper), a Horakhty’s Flame (obtained by defeating Orthros) and a Deimos Clay (obtained by defeating Trickster).
Montblanc
Awarded for completing a 50-Chain in battle, earning you the title of The Unrelenting.
All you have to do to obtain this sprite is create a 50-Chain by defeating the same type of enemy over and over again without interruption. Check out the tips and tricks section or the grinding and power leveling sections for more information.
Old Dalan
Awarded for fully exploring every map, earning you the title of Cartographer.
This sprite can be obtained by exploring every area of all of the maps. Note that you do not have to explore each of the maps fully, rather you just need to enter each of the different zones in each of the different maps. You do not need to fill in all of the areas covered by fog of war and you do not need to purchase the maps from each of the Cartographer’s Guild.
If you are trying to obtain the trophy and are having difficulties, here are some common areas that go missed:
- The Grand Arcade and Highgarden Terrace areas of the Imperial City of Archades (check out the Archades page for more information on how to reach that area).
- Hall of the Wroth God in the Sochen Cave Palace (where you go to defeat Hell Wyrm)
- The various levels of the Pharos – Subterra.
Use the “Speed Up” function in the Zodiac Age version of the game to make it easier to travel to each of the various areas if you missed any.
Penelo
Awarded for acquiring over 100,000 gil, earning you the title of Plunderer.
Just acquire 100,000 gil from treasure chests or foes to obtain this sprite.
Rasler
Awarded for obtaining 48,000 License Points, earning you the title of Conqueror.
This sprite can be unlocked by earning License Points (LP). You will naturally earn a ton of LP by completing the various side quests and Hunts available throughout the game.
Reks
Awarded for obtaining over 500,000 Clan Points, earning you the title of Record Breaker.
You will earn Clan Points by completing Hunts and from defeating regular foes. Most players will naturally obtain this sprite as they playthrough the game, assuming they complete some of the Hunts along the way.
Trickster
Awarded for defeating the Trickster, earning you the title of Sharpshooter.
This sprite is obtained by completing Hunt 37: Paramina Run. Check out the Hunt page for more information on how to track down and defeat Trickster.
Ultima
Awarded for defeating Ultima, earning you the title of Fell Angel.
This sprite is obtained by defeating Ultima at the top of the Great Crystal. Check out the Ultima Esper page for more information on how to defeat and obtain her as an optional Esper.
Vaan
Awarded for successfully Stealing over 50 times, earning you the title of Master Thief.
Just use the Steal command 50 times successfully to unlock this sprite.
Vayne
Awarded for using Technicks over 1,000 times, earning you the title of Premier Prestidigitator.
Just use any of the various Technicks until you have used them 1,000 times or more to unlock this sprite.
Vossler
Awarded for learning every Technick, earning you the title of Jack-of-All-Trades.
This is one of the more difficult sprites to unlock. Check out the Technicks section for more information on each of the Technicks and where to find them.
Yiazmat
Awarded for defeating Yiazmat, earning you the title of Hunter Extraordinaire.
This sprite is obtained by completing Hunt 45: Farewell to a Legend. Check out the Hunt page for more information on how to track down and defeat Yiazmat.
